Casting Clinic Registration Here

Every year since 2003 we have put on a Free Women’s Casting Clinic at Blue Lake Park. The clinics are free to any woman who wants to learn to cast or improve their cast. The clinics are led by Katherine Hart (shown below at the 2006 clinic), a Masters level FFF-certified fly casting instructor, with assistance from club members. 

The clinic is free of charge and we serve lunch at the break.
This year (2010) the clinic will be on Saturday, June 12th.

In 2008 the club sponsored our first casting clinic fundraiser to benefit Casting For Recovery and then in 2009 partnered with the guys at Reel Recovery to to benefit both groups. These are very worthy causes. This year’s fundraiser will be Saturday April 24th and again will benefit both groups. The instructors are all FFF Certified Casting Instructors (who usually charge many times what the students will be paying for these classes) and they all generously donate their time. This clinic is also held at Blue Lake Park. For more info DOWNLOAD THE REGISTRATION FORM or email cfrcastingclinic@stoneflymaidens.org and sign up for a class.
